We are able to achieve this because we have the applicable skills and expertise in house, not only on board our own fleet but also ashore in our offices. A no-nonsense culture is prevalent both on board and in our offices. Our staff think in terms of solutions and opportunities instead of in terms of problems.<br \/>\nOur shore-based organisation comprises of 60 professionals, ranging from charterers and engineers to IT staff and Safety Inspectors. A further 175 skilled crew members work on board our vessels, from common sailors to captains, who sail on a week on\/week off basis.<br \/>\nInterstream Barging stimulates employees to use their talents by challenging them in their work and through education and training.
